5 2019 Camping Music Festivals Worth Attending

The season of music festivals is close approaching. If you are someone who likes to camp at these events, making sure you have prepared yourself in advance is important to ensure you organize yourself correctly. To make sure you are all set, we have provided a top list of lineups to make sure you don’t miss a thing. So, here are five camping music festivals that are worth attending this year.

Sonic Bloom

Sonic bloom is hosted in Southern Colorado at the Hummingbird Ranch. This festival thrives for an ultimate level of creativity and has a lineup that has been judiciously thought-out. The type of music you can expect to hear at Sonic Bloom will consist of jam and electronic music. People who have attended this festival previously described it as wild, but also relaxing, so you can experience both crazy and chilled-out times. If you intend on going with a group of friends, make sure you get a tent that’s big enough to accommodate everyone.

EDC Vegas

Last year, camping and RVs were being permitted at EDC Vegas for the first time in history, and what a success it was. EDC is an exceptionally fast-paced festival that is hosted in Las Vegas. It has nine stages and 200 artists for you to choose from. You can expect the music to play from the moment the sun starts to set all the way until it rises again. This festival lasts for four days and plays an array of music that is sure to blow your mind. The Thursday is exclusive to the people who are camping. Campers will also have privileges at pool parties, music areas, Go-Kart racing and re-entry of the campsites.

Suwannee Hulaween

As you may be able to tell by the name, this is a festival that takes place for Halloween, so it won’t start until the last weekend in October. However, this unique event is worth the wait. Suwannee Hulaween will be hosted in Live Oak, Florida at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park. It has developed into one of America’s leading festivals. The theme of this spooky event is a psychedelic horror, but is described as thrilling and mind-blowing rather than scary. Everyone and every piece of land sticks to a Halloween theme and will be dressed up and decorated for the event.

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival

Bonnaroo is hosted in Tennessee and has a massive lineup planned for this year. From artists like Muse to Eminem and Paramore, as well as a range of popular EDM acts, not only does this festival bring together a cluster of artists that are world-renowned, but it also mixes in a number of comedians. The comedic side of this festival makes it a truly unique and pleasurable experience. What could be better than enjoying both great music and fits of laughter? Another thing that makes this festival stand out is their one of a kind Bonnaroo Super Jam.

 Electric Forest

Electric forest takes place in Rothbury, Michigan at the J.J. Ranch over two weekends in the summer. This festival has been described as a place people assume you get lost in, but in fact you actually discover more, learn new things, create great memories and can even become interactive with the festival. Quotes and art pieces are dotted around the area and there are stages that can be found while you explore. The original owner of the ranch hand planted the trees that make up the forest, hoping that one day it would become a place to express yourself. That it did, and with it becoming one of the nation’s biggest festivals, there is no reason you should miss it.

We hope that you have been able to find at least one festival that catches your interest. Whatever you decide to choose, make sure you plan ahead and prepare yourself appropriately for an awesome experience that awaits you.
