The Black Embroidered Jacket
Long time no faux leather jacket. I usually prefer real leather jackets mostly because of the quality but this one is really beautiful and I had to have it. So when I was thinking of creating an outfit around this jacket I went for a full black outfit so the embroideries would stand out. I had this super cool bell sleeved dress that I also wore at the StylishCircle party last week and I thought it would be the best mix.
Dress: Here / Jacket: Here / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Some basic rules, in my opinion, that would make a full black outfit special:
- Mix textures and use layers for diversity. If you are having all of your clothing items the same color, try different fabrics. The chiffon and lace dress, with the silver dotted boots and leather accents.
- Use an element as the main point of focus as I had embroidery here. You can even go for a statement necklace, a big studded collar or a belt.
- Don’t add big pieces of clothing that would cover too much. This kind of outfit might make you look like you were attending a funeral.
I don’t know about you but I go for an all black outfit anytime I am not really sure what to put on. It’s safe, classy and works every time.
I would wear this even as a day to day casual outfit, maybe with some flat leather boots and a backpack.
For a night out in the club, I would change the ankle boots with some high heeled sandals or over the knee boots. Maybe put my hair up in a tight ponytail and forget my shades at home, because what would you need shades for in the club, right? A big hat and some chandelier earrings could complete this boho inspired mix, agree?
I can’t wait to show you more looks with this amazing jacket. I will surely wear it with some ripped shorts and sneakers for a casual look mix. Too bad winter is coming and not spring, but I will have all next year to wear it more often.
You always look incredible! 🙂
