How to pick rings according to your finger structure

You probably know by now that I love rings more than earrings. For years now, I have been wearing just my upper lobe studs, and very, very rarely some fancy earrings in my lower lobe because I  don’t find them that comfortable.

But I love rings(not when I work), stacking, or just some big, statement pieces depending on how I feel.  I noticed that not all fit my hand, I mean visually so I did some research and got these tips for you too. So next time you want to buy  a ring you can actually find out what fits you before even trying it on.

1. Thin bands with small stones work well on thin fingers, small hands. They work well for long and shorter fingers. A wide band can make  your finger look a bit thicker, so this can be a great idea if you have very thin fingers.

2. The perfect idea for short fingers is picking an oval shaped stone, tear drop or rectangular , as long as they are not too big to make it look even shorter. Avoid wide bands .

3. If you have big knuckles get big rings that will draw the attention away from them.

4. Small hands-small rings, stones and thin bands.

5. Large hands– get to experiment more. Stacking, picking big rings won’t be a problem, but still keep in mind your finger width.

EXTRA TIP: You cand lenghten your fingers by picking an almond shape for your nails!
