Jeans that make you look skinny – go for black
The classic jeans invented by Jacob W. Davis in partnership with Levi Strauss & Co. in 1871 were blue, but since then a lot has changed and jeans have undergone many distortions and modifications along the way. From super skinny jeans, to boyfriend cuts, distressed, coated or treated with different types of washes to give them a more distresses or rugged effect. They are all very cool and comfortable but after the blue jeans, black jeans are the most popular.
Some pose the question before, some just after they bought them: what to wear with black jeans?
The question is very popular but there is no correct answer for this one. Wear what you feel like wearing because everything goes well with black jeans! Well, probably almost everything.
If you have been following me for a while now, you noticed I love jeans and especially black coated jeans. I need to have at least one new pair in my closet easy season to be sure they don’t ware off that fast and I can enjoy wearing them for a long period of time.
Can’t say I find them very easily, at least not after ZARA stopped producing them ( hope they will add some in the next collections), and some even if they are more expensive, don’t have a long life. Don’t know why that happens because I don’t treat them differently from all the other styles I had before.
Anyway, back to styling black jeans because basically that’s our topic today.
Color pop with black jeans
I enjoy picking out all dark shades and adding a very vibrant color to the mix, like this fuchsia leather jacket. If I am not wearing sneakers, I prefer something comfortable most of the time, so I’d go for wedges or chunky heels.

Rock-n- roll outfit with black jeans
An oversized shirt with black jeans looks awesome. If you don’t like shirts, try a funky text printed Tshirt or a side cut out vest that will surely make you stand out. These platforms were so comfy, too bad they wore out and I had to throw them away:( so sad. I need to find something similar that has to be at least as comfortable as this pair was. If you are going to a more special event, try a studded jacket to top it off. A fashion show would be the perfect place to show off a studded blazer or jacket.

Airport outfit
When travelling I love being super comfy and most of the time I pick Superstars or All Stars to finish my looks and of course black coated jeans. Can’t get enough! A lightweight bomber jacket just to protect me from any possible wind and that’s it! Simple & comfortable.

Spring-summer with black jeans
Even if black jeans should be avoided in the warm season just because they attract heat, I do occasionally wear them even then. To make the look breezy, I pair the jeans with a spaghetti strap top or something lightweight to make sure I don’t melt away. Flat sandals or heels to match and I’m off.

Wearing black jeans in winter
A thick pullover or a hoodies looks awesome under an aviator coat paired up with black coated jeans. I almost never forget my sunglasses, even in winter, so that would surely give the whole look an even cooler vibe. Usually I would go for combat boots or winter boots but here I had some cool silver heeled stretch boots, very comfy I might add.

So what to wear with black is just a rhetorical question, because the answer is right in your hand. You wear what you feel like wearing because everything goes.
