Short Skirts and Leather Jackets

The Plaid Skirt

The plaid or tartan print as you might know it is back every autumn-autumn. Even if famous designers don’t really promote it as much as maybe in other seasons, it still remains in the street style fashion scene as a statement item.

How can you wear a short plaid skirt?

  1. School girl chic – Some of us had similar skirts as part of the school uniforms. We hated them back then, but they look really cool now. Still have it? Wear it. Here is how you can wear a tartan printed short skirt.
  2. Punk inspired – I love mixing plaid with leather for a rebellious look. Another idea is to have a lace-leatehr-plaid mix, more diversity and a cool layering. Preepy-Punk Look
  3. Vintage feel – a classy, formal look with a modern twist. Not a skirt but actually a dress that can be worn as  a cardigan. So many posibilities…. If you want to mix the skirt in, try it with a simple casual shirt and a nice wollen vest. Don’t forget about the hat!

It can’t be comapred to the famous LBD because it’s not that versatile, but still you can create around 10 original looks with the same short skirt. Agree?

Will you wear that plaid skirt this year too?

Love this top from Puppa Fashion because it’s the perfect mix for the season. A knitted crop top looks amazing with high waisted skirts either made of leather, silk or even wool.

And my favorite acessory-The Lace Skull Tattoo
