Fur lined hooded winter jacket
Parka style jackets are this season’s highlight. Since Era Istrefi came out with that super bon-bon colored fur parka, many other similar designs appeared. Even if I would have also liked a deep fuchsia colored fur hood, this red version is simply perfect. It blends in with my hair color and I can easily match it with so many other items I already own.
This Blue Vanilla parka style jacket is ideal for cold winters because it has a full fur lining and a big, warm hood. It also has a string around the waist line, but in the lining, not on the outside. This way you can tie it up and it will prevent the wind from making you feel cold. I also adore the fact that it has super cute embroideries on the front part and sleeves.
How I styled it
I paired it up with a simple tartan printed shirt-dress-cardigan that I got from Kuala Lumpur. I loved the versatility of this casual item so that’s why I thought it might just be a great acquisition. I would also recommend you to get a similar shirt because it’s timeless, easy to mix and match and very very comfortable.
Ideas on how to wear the parka style jacket
Talking about parka style jackets, I have to admit that I have a thing for such designs. Army inspired, casual yet very edgy, street and still classy. I would easily style it with a lace dress and some high heeled sandals. Or maybe with a simple leather skirt and a mesh top. It can also look really awesome with a classic pair of jeans, a pullover and maybe a simple white shirt underneath. For a cool club night out dancing, try a khaki or gold sequined dress underneath. Add some Dr Martens or chunky heeled boots for a bad girl outfit.
Even if it may seem hard to style because it isn’t very classic or simple, it still gives you many possibilities on being creative while staying warm and chic.
