White lace dress and suede boots
Such a cliche, wearing white in winter, but I must say I love the way it blends in and just let’s the texture speak by itself.
Because it should have been a very simple, yet elegant look, I opted for a light colored hat. It was really hard finding a color similar to white, but still, not identical and when I saw this white-beige hat I knew it was right. Parfois had some nice designs made in a light grey but they were too big:(.
And no winter outfit could be complete without a fur jacket. I have several others too but not as white as I wanted so I made one to fit my special needs, if I can say so. It kept me warm, of course until I took it off and caught a cold…. hapciu….
Boots with dresses for an elegant touch? Why not?
I wore my favorite suede over the knee boots for that touch of color the white outfit needed and I think this combination looked much better than any stiletto heel. Agree?
As for the bag, a clutch probably would have been a more stylish choice, but I went for the more practical version and took my white Furla out for a walk. I can fit everything I need in that bag, it’s just the perfect size for me.

Even if many wouldn’t agree that boots and dresses are a great mix, especially when it comes to matching very elegant details like fine lace, I have to take my own view. I love how the edgy over the knee boots look with super fine dresses because of the contrast they provide. It’s a rebellious approach for a more elegant attire, like for example a cocktail party when maybe you are tired of wearing that LBD with stiletto heels or strappy sandals.
Here are some more looks that might give you some ideas on how to wear boots with dresses.
