What is Vintage Fashion?

You may be wondering what vintage fashion is. It’s clothing produced after 1920 and before the present date. Fashion styles before 1920 are considered antique.

But vintage style is all about being stylish in a classic yet modern way

My look here is vintage inspired but you can also say it’s actually very hip. A tartan printed 1970’s dress that flatters any type of silhouette mixed with knee high boots and dark blue fedora hat. I took my new bag out for a walk and I have to say it was the best deal ever. Big enough to fit all my things, classic yet adaptable for almost any style. This is the best version if you can’t afford an authentic Chanel yet.

The Vintage style is really easy adaptable to actual trends you just have to use your creativity and be bold in trying other combinations. The woolen texture of the dress looked amazing with the suede over the knee boots, but you could have picked some lace up ankle boots instead or even stiletto heels.

For a more sexy approach, un-button the collar and leave a nice cleavage with a lace detailed bra or why not, even a a simple leather bra like I wore here.
