Denim on denim is really hot right now, but I am not fond of denim jackets right now so this time I went for a simple denim skirt outfit.

How to style a denim skirt

I have worn denim skirts since I was a little girl. I can remember one of my favorite skirts, it had a cool little flower embroidery on the front right side. It was very cute and versatile, not that I would have had many others – cool clothes were limited and very expensive when I was a little kid so any cute item I got I always cherished it very much and worn it with care.

For a few years, I haven’t worn any denim skirts because I never found a design I liked and felt comfortable in, but this is was love at first sight. It’s the kind of design you would wear with sneakers, heels and flats. It has that rock chic edge into it so you can easy put a cool punk outfit together with this denim skirt.

Still, there are many other ways yo pull off a cool denim skirt outfit:

A bandage bodysuit underneath, or even a bathing suit for a cool and sexy look. Go to the beach and stay for the after-party too. You are ready to make a great impression.
A basic T-shirt and oxford shoes will create a fashionable preppy look that is ideal for a day at school or university.
Wearing this denim skirt with a cutout top, layered leather jacket and combat boots will transform you in a punk chic princess.

I decided to pair it up with a star printed shirt that ties up in the front, a big hat and some striped high heeled sandals to go with.

But what I like most about this denim skirt is that it’s very comfortable. I will surely wear it more often with my favorite Converse sneakers or Adidas Superstars.
